The central defender reported muscular trouble related to his calf on February 7, after the 2-0 win against Frosinone, and had to be rested for three weeks. In that time he missed the 2-2 game against the German team, which was played on February 23.
It seems Chiellini's injury has returned, as he limped off the game against Inter yesterday after half an hour. The problem appears to be his calf once again.
