Incredible scenes after Milan win first Scudetto in a decade

Milan fans celebrated their first Scudetto in over 10 years passionately following their electric 3-0 win over Sassuolo.

The Rossoneri secured the league title on the final day of the season, securing three points after a comfortable win in Reggio Emilia. Inter did everything they could against Sampdoria, winning 3-0, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap to their intercity rivals.

At the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, the Rossoneri fans’ joy was palpable in the stands throughout the match and they exploded onto the pitch after the full time whistle went, taking no time to celebrate their success.

In the streets of Milan things were even more electric; at the famous Piazza del Duomo, hundreds and hundreds of fans gathered to sing and cheer, setting off flares and rising to the incredible occasion.

Milan have had to wait since the 2010-11 season to lift the Scudetto and winning on the final day ahead of intercity rivals Inter only makes things sweeter.
