Ciro Immobile reveals he moved to Sevilla because he 'lacked trust' in Dortmund, while predicting a 'balanced, exciting' Serie A next year.
The striker will be in the Liga team's squad tonight as they play the European Supercup against Barcelona, at 7:45 p.m., UK time.
“I'm counting on staying with Sevilla for a long time,” he said, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. “My family is very happy in this city and I'm equally happy in this team.

“I'm counting on staying with Sevilla for a long time,” he said, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. “My family is very happy in this city and I'm equally happy in this team.
“Ever since I came, [Coach Unai] Emery treats me as a top player.
“I don't know if I'll play as a starter, whether I'll only be given a few minutes or whether I'll be on the bench. I'm only at the beginning.
“But what matters is that I'm surrounded by an atmosphere of trust, which is what I was lacking in Dortmund.
“The blame for my bad experience in Germany is to be shared.
“The team wasn't playing well, I got injured, I wasted some chances.
“I hope to be on the pitch tonight, it would be beautiful to play this game and challenge [Leo] Messi.”
Immobile was also asked for a prediction on the upcoming Serie A tournament.
“I expect a more balanced, more exciting championship. The big teams have signed some excellent players.
“Juventus still seem to be a step ahead, even though the gap is smaller.
“As a supporter, I hope that Napoli can do well with their new Coach and that they're the team to rival Juve, more so than Roma.
“Sooner or later I'd love to play for the Partenopei. But this summer Napoli never sought me out.
“We'll see what happens in the future, but for now I want to stop and win as much as I can with Sevilla.”
