Ciro Immobile admits a return to Serie A “is possible. I’ll have to talk to the new Coach of Borussia Dortmund.”
The ex-Torino striker was sold to BVB a year ago for €19m, but struggled to adapt to life in Germany with three goals in 24 Bundesliga games.
He did considerably better in the Champions League, scoring four times in six games, plus three in three DFB Cup appearances.

“A return to Italy? There’s always a possibility, I’ll have to talk to the new Coach of Borussia Dortmund,” Immobile told Sky Sport Italia.
“It is always a pleasure to be linked with big Italian clubs.”
There are several options for the 25-year-old, who is Neapolitan and was spotted at the birthday party of Napoli starlet Lorenzo Insigne this week.
He could well fit into the new system when Coach Maurizio Sarri takes over from Rafa Benitez, acting as a replacement for unhappy Gonzalo Higuain.
Both Inter and Milan are interested, while Roma are also considering a bid for the Italy international.
