Italy international Ciro Immobile scored twice, including a goal after 21 seconds, to give Besiktas the Turkish Super Cup in a 5-0 demolition of rivals Galatasaray.
It was the dream debut for the former Lazio striker, who made the move this summer for circa €3m to begin a new chapter of his career in Turkey.
Immobile star of the show for Besiktas
In the opening minute, he pounced on a defensive error and kept his cool when clear on goal to break the deadlock at the 22nd second of the match.

The 34-year-old then stepped up to convert a penalty to make it 3-0 on the night, after Jonas Svensson had scored the second.

When Victor Nelsson saw red at the 87th minute, Besiktas ran wild with another two goals in stoppages from Rafa and Mustafa Hekimoglu.
That means Immobile already has his first piece of silverware in the Besiktas jersey and knows he contributed two goals to their historic victory.
I still wonder why he can’t replicate the same form with Azzurri.
Congrats Ciro! Your be a Goal machine in the Turkish league. I hope he is more appreciated than his time in Italy.
Absolutely I agree @Dazziano
@Omar.
Because Immobile is a B level club player. Could do it at Lazio and Torino, but not every player is able to embrace the weight of the national team shirt. That’s what separates the elite from the medium size fish in a small pond.
And yet “genius” manager like Sarri couldn’t squeeze any goals out of this Lazio legend!
