The Italian international spent last season at Borussia Dortmund, but struggled to make an impact and left Germany after just one campaign.
“I came from Borussia without any problems, and I feel good here,” Immobile told Marca.
“Maybe I’m a bit tired, with a bit of discomfort in the legs, but I’ll be ready soon. I’m here for another challenge after the Bundesliga. Sevilla are a big club, and I jumped at this chance as soon as it came up.
“There’s a lot of quality in the dressing room, everyone is united and we have a great Coach [Unai Emery]. For someone like me, it’s important to have such a calm atmosphere.
“Emery and his staff have helped me a lot, I immediately sensed that they do a great job. The results speak for themselves.
“The goal for the season is to win at least one trophy.”
Immobile is effectively a replacement for Carlos Bacca, who has joined Milan, but the former Torino forward insists he’s not feeling the pressure.
“It will be difficult, because in his time here at Sevilla, Bacca scored a lot. I’ll try to work well with the team so we don’t miss him.”
