After beating Spain, Ciro Immobile warns Italy face “an even stronger team” in Germany.

The Azzurri are in the Quarter-Finals of Euro 2016, and face the world champions in Bordeaux on Saturday.

“The match against Spain really fired us up,” Immobile said in a Press conference today.

“Now we face another game, against an even stronger game and we have to train like we did for Spain.”

Mario Gomez has stated that the Germans are confident of progress, and Immobile was asked about those words.

“Anyone can say what they want. We know that they’re a good team, they’re strong and sure of themselves. If he says that, he has confidence. There are 23 of us, and we want to keep dreaming.

“We’ve beaten them a lot of times and now we’re moving forward. It’s work that speaks, and also the pitch. What happens in the newspapers is irrelevant.

“They’re world champions, they’ve won a lot of games and they’re confident. We know it won’t be easy, but we want to pull this off with the work we’ve done.”
