Pier Silvio Berlusconi has refused to rule out Mauro Icardi’s move to Monza while the ex-Inter striker posted a nostalgic message about San Siro.

The Argentinean is under contract with PSG until June 2024 but has been linked with a return to Serie A many times.

Monza are now dreaming of signing him even if the deal is complicated because of financial reasons.

“It would be a great opportunity to have him at Monza,” Silvio Berlusconi’s brother Pier Silvio said on Thursday, as quoted by Il Corriere dello Sport.

“Can you imagine him scoring against Inter? Don’t let me go beyond this, I have trust in Galliani.”

In the meantime, Icardi is spending his holiday in Italy and is in Milan today. He owns an apartment close to San Siro and drove by Inter and Milan’s stadium in the morning.

“So many emotions lived here. Unbelievable moments of my personal and professional life that will forever remain in my heart,” the Argentina international wrote.
