Lorenzo Insigne pledges to ‘shave my beard’ if Napoli win the Scudetto this season.
The Partenopei have been tipped by many as dark horses for the title, with teammate Marek Hamsik already promising to shave his distinctive mohawk if the League title ends up in Naples.
“Like every year, we’ll try to give our best,” Insigne explained to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Like every year, we’ll try to give our best,” Insigne explained to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Even if not many players have come in, what’s important is the important players have stayed from last year, we know each other well, and that’s good for us.
“We’ll try to win as many games as possible, and get into the Champions League. There are many teams who have strengthened competing for the top places.
“Juventus have lost three great players [Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez], Roma have had a good transfer campaign, but it’s too early to say.
“The Scudetto? If we win, I’ll shave my beard and get a new tattoo! It would definitely be a great feeling if we won.”
Insigne also explained his affection for the club, having been born in the city and developed in the Napoli youth teams.
“I’m proud to wear the Napoli shirt, I’m happy here and I have to plans to leave. I’m only thinking of Napoli. This relationship is down to me, but also to Napoli.”
