Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock says he’d willing sign Roma's full-back Ashley Cole, but that a deal looks unlikely.
The Premier League side, where the former England international spent a six-month loan in 2000, were rumoured yesterday to be interested in the Roma player.
With Cole seen as having a difficult time integrating himself with the Giallorossi, Palace’s Warnock has confirmed he’d be more than open to taking him in January, even if it may seem improbable.

“I'd definitely have him,” the manager has said to the Croydon Advertiser.
“I'd have him tomorrow if I could.
“I don't think it's going to happen, but I would have him, I think it's super.”
Cole’s agent yesterday hit out at reports linking him with a move away from the Italian capital.
