Mauro Icardi is waiting for Juventus to make a convincing offer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 28-year-old Argentinian striker is only playing a bit part role in the French capital, playing less than 1000 minutes in the first half of the season under coach Mauricio Pochettino. He is not considered unsellable by the Ligue 1 giants, but the club need to be convinced by an offer.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Icardi is open to leaving PSG but he does not want to leave Paris without some certainty regarding his future, and for now he’s still waiting for Juventus to find the right offer to convince the French side to allow him to leave.

The possible departure of Alvaro Morata to Barcelona would not give the Bianconeri enough to reinvest in a new forward. The Spaniard is currently on loan from Atletico Madrid and if he joined Barcelona, the Turin side would save on half of the loan deal – around €5m – and the salary, which is around €2.5m net.

Juventus have limited options in their search for a new striker in this month’s transfer window, with options like Arkadiusz Milik and Edison Cavani no longer being available. As such, the Old Lady will have to work to find the right offer to convince PSG.

  1. We no need this, I not understand who is managing this team in last 2 years, that man is sick. I became juves fan long time ago mostly of club policy to pay attention mostly at italian players, at good cheap kind club loving players, but not in such expensive nothing worth primadonas. Someone inside club management is totaly not loving this team
