Mauro Icardi has been told to pack his bags in Paris after failing to impress, meaning he could return to Serie A this summer.

The 29-year-old Argentinian forward has not had a good time with Paris Saint-Germain following his move from Inter in July 2020. He has scored 38 goals in 92 appearances and has failed to replicate the quality and eye for goal shown during his years with the Nerazzurri.

As detailed by France Bleu Paris, Icardi and his entourage have been informed by PSG that he must find a new club in the summer as he no longer features in their plans for the future.

The Argentine has been linked with a return to Serie A on a number of occasions over the last few months, with clubs like Milan and Juventus both reportedly interested in bringing him back to the Italian peninsula. A return to Serie A could therefore be on the cards.

This season, Icardi has made 30 appearances across all competitions, for a total of 1307 minutes. In that time, he’s scored only five goals, with the last coming in a 1-1 draw with Lorient back in December.

  1. He will struggle big time in a PhD Max team as he is not mobile. He was only effective inside the box as a poacher but now he has been hibernating longer then the grandad of Italian and world football. Juventus are the only major team in the world with no midfield but it is worth asking isn’t he still too young for PhD Max…

  2. Don’t you get bored of writing the same comments? You do know Allegri doesn’t read your posts right?

You remind me of the Messi & Ronaldo fans that just get obsessive.

  3. not gonna happen. His stats this year are bad, his agent is nothing but trouble, his almost 30. Why should Milan or Juve be signing him? Unless it’s a free transfer with a significant paycut
