Icardi to Juventus depends on Mbappé to Real Madrid

According to multiple reports, Juventus continue to push for Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappé’s stay in Paris would make it easier for the Old Lady to sign the former Inter captain.

Moise Kean has undergone his medicals with the Bianconeri, but the Italian striker may not be the only player who will replace Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are in talks with PSG to sign Icardi, but it won’t be easy to secure the services of the Argentinean striker.

Faivre, Pjanic, Ribery and more: ten Serie A transfers to expect before the window shuts

Surely, Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid would make it impossible for the Bianconeri to sign Icardi. If the French striker stays in Paris, the Serie A giants would have more chances to finalise the deal with ‘Maurito’.

La Gazzetta, however, insists that it will be tough for Juventus to finalise the striker’s signing in the last 24 hours of negotiations and, for this reason, the club’s directors leave the door open to Icardi’s Juventus move in 2022, either in January or at the end of the season.

As per Sky Sport Italia, PSG are not convinced about selling the Argentinean in the summer.

The Serie A giants have also announced the signing of Brazilian starlet Kaio Jorge, but it remains to be seen if the 19-year-old and Kean will be enough for the Serie A giants to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
