A social media post from Mauro Icardi seems to suggest Wanda Nara will not divorce him: ‘Thank you for choosing this family.’
Wanda accused Icardi of cheating on her with an Instagram story on Saturday.
According to multiple reports, the striker had an affair with Argentinean actress Eugenia Rodriguez.
Icardi missed PSG’s training sessions this week and was given permission to skip yesterday’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig for personal reasons.
A possible breakup with his wife would have had consequences on the player’s professional life as well, given that Wanda is also Icardi’s agent.
However, based on Icardi’s last Instagram post, it seems that the couple would not split.
“Thank you my love for continuing to trust in this beautiful family, thank you for being the engine of our lives,” the former Inter captain wrote.
“How much it hurts to hurt your loved ones. You only heal when you have forgiveness for those you hurt.”
However, Wanda has not reacted to Icardi’s post so it remains to be seen whether or not she has decided to forgive his husband.
Icardi’s contract with PSG expires in June 2023 and the former Inter captain has been linked with a return to Serie A with Juventus and Milan interested.
