According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a proposal has been made to increase the release clause of €110m to €150m and bump up his salary.
It’d be €6.3m per year with various performance-related bonuses taking the total up to €7.5-8m.
However, the Icardi entourage is demanding closer to €9m, which would make him the best-paid player in Serie A.
