"For all those who are asking me, this is a hyperbaric chamber that I have at home. I use it to prevent injuries and recover faster after games and training sessions," Icardi explained in a new Instagram story.
"Pure oxygen is breathed at a pressure three times higher than atmospheric."
Fans have criticised him on social media as the first picture's timing, posted without any explanation, was probably not appropriate.
