According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants ex-LA Galaxy director Jovan Kirovski to join him at Milan, becoming the Rossoneri’s director of sport.

The pink paper claims Ibrahimovic is actively searching for a new director of sport at Milan, a role currently covered by Antonio D’Ottavio.

The report claims Kirovski, a former Technical Director at LA Galaxy, is Ibra’s favourite candidate for the job. According to Gazzetta, Kirovski has been in Milan already and could have been at San Siro to watch the Rossoneri in action.

Gazzetta highlights how Ibrahimovic is gaining a leading role inside Milan’s control room. On paper, he’s an ‘Operating Partner’ and a ‘Senior Advisor to Ownership’, but he is taking a central role in Milan’s development on and off the pitch, as required by club owner Gerry Cardinale.

Kirovski, a former American footballer, signed Ibrahimovic at LA Galaxy from Manchester United in 2018 and the duo has remained on good terms since.

According to the report, Ibra now wants to bring him to Milan, making him a ‘reference point’ in the club’s Technical Area.
