According to Sky Sport Italia, both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic will likely miss Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina, while Fikayo Tomori could be available.

Stefano Pioli’s men trained at Milanello in the morning, but according to Sky Sport Italia, Ibrahimovic didn’t join his teammates for the training session.

The Swede worked in the gym and has yet to return to group training since sustaining a tendon injury in the last Serie A match against Juventus on January 23.

Ante Rebic could also be forced to the sidelines against Inter as the Croatia international reportedly trained apart from the rest of the group, although on the pitch.

The only good news may concern Tomori, who partially trained with the rest of the team today. The former Chelsea defender could be available for the Derby della Madonnina, but it remains to be seen if he will be fit enough to start.

Tomori underwent keyhole surgery on his left knee on January 14 and was supposed to remain out of action for a month.

  1. Milan fan – Pioli has been impatient with Ante’s recovery, so he has suffered. The problem with Rebic is he plays such a physical game if he doesn’t return at at least 90% then he will be injured immediately. Players like Diaz can maybe get away with quick injury recovery but the likes of Rebic absolutely not
