Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic, Ismael Bennacer and Samu Castillejo did not travel with Milan for tonight’s Serie A clash against Torino.

The Rossoneri are taking on the Granata at 19.45 UK time tonight at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, a must-win game following Inter’s 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona yesterday. Stefano Pioli already expected to be without Alessio Romagnoli, Alessandro Florenzi and Simon Kjaer, but these absences may have thrown a spanner in the works.

As detailed by MilanNews.it, Ibrahimovic, Rebic, Bennacer and Castillejo did not join the Milan squad for the trip up to Turin, ruling them out of tonight’s game against Torino.

The Swedish veteran is suffering from an overload on his left knee, whilst the other three are dealing with muscle fatigue. It’s likely that all four will be available for the next game against Genoa.

Pioli will now have to tinker with his plans a little ahead of tonight’s game, aware of the importance of every point available.

  1. What the hell?!

How can three perfectly fine players suddenly miss a match hours before kick-off SIMULTANEUOSLY?

  2. @ Milan141 And why not, Saelemaeker hasn’t been playing for weeks now, and MESSIAS, REBIC, LEAO, DIAZ have all been playing, but what have they done lately?

  3. @ralph None of them have done anything in the last 3 games. At least Saelemaekers works hard.

Silver lining, Kessie won’t play 10 tonight. Might as well have him in goal.
