Milan target Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly said “this could’ve been my last game for PSG” after winning the French Super Cup.

There had already been rumours he would be allowed to walk away from Paris Saint-Germain after taking part in this match, which his side won 2-0 over Lyon.

“This could’ve been my last game for PSG. I am about to make an important decision,” Ibra is alleged to have told reporters.

However, doubts emerged over whether the quote was real, as French media did not cover it, whereas it spread like wildfire through Italian sites.

Milan are the absolute favourites to sign the Swede, who would relish a return to his former club.

The Rossoneri have made no secret of their intention of bringing him back, especially with new Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic in charge.

He has also been linked with Roma, Manchester United, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and a move to the American MLS.
