Zlatan Ibrahimovic acknowledges Milan were ‘desperate’ to re-sign him from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The striker left the Rossoneri for Paris in 2012, and the club were engaged in a very public campaign to bring him back to San Siro.

“If other clubs want me, they have to deal with my agent, Mino Raiola,” Ibrahimovic told a Press conference while on Sweden duty.

“Obviously I’m happy if people want me, but they should speak to him.

“Milan? I don’t know, but I’m happy in Paris. This summer I decided to stay, and that’s it. But I do know Milan were a bit ‘desperate’.”

Ibra is now 33-years-old, and was asked whether he is contemplating retirement.

“There will be a time when I have to say goodbye to football, both at club level and for the national team.

“I assure you that you’ll know immediately. The whole world will know, it will be big news.”
