According to DAZN, Gerry Cardinale met Zlatan Ibrahimovic this morning with the Milan owner open to including an experienced and charismatic member among club directors.

Ibrahimovic watched Milan players train at Milanello on Monday, two days after a 5-1 loss in the derby della Madonnina.

According to DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando, there was another meeting involving the ex-Sweden striker in Milan today. Accomando claims Ibra met Milan owner Gerry Cardinale at a hotel in Corso Venezia in Milan this morning.

Cardinale is reportedly open to adding a new, experienced member among club directors and Ibra would be an ideal candidate, given his strong influence in the squad over the years.

Milan released a brief Ibrahimovic message on Tuesday morning, hours before the Rossoneri’s Champions League clash against Newcastle at San Siro.

Cardinale, Giorgio Furlani and Milan President Paolo Scaroni met Newcastle director Amanda Staveley at an institutional lunch organised by UEFA on Tuesday afternoon.
