Zlatan Ibrahimovic has donated €100,000 to help hospitals in the fight against the Coronavirus in northern Italy.

Ibrahimovic is the latest player in Serie A to donate a portion of their salary to hospitals in the on-going struggle against the Coronavirus.

Italy currently has over 25,000 active cases of the disease, with the death toll now standing at over 2,500 people.

The Milan striker took to Instagram to announce that he has donated €100,000 to the Humanitas hospitals in the Lombardy and Piedmont regions of Italy.
