“If Zlatan opens the door, we’ll talk. What we told each other must remain private,” he concluded.

Ibrahimovic, 39, announced his retirement from international football in 2016.

The Swede attacked the National Team's coach back in September saying that leaving Juventus star Dejan Kulusevski on the bench was ‘an absolute joke.’

During a recent interview with Sky Sport, the former Barcelona and Manchester United striker added: “I’ve spoken with the coach and I’ve explained him the situation.

"For 20 years I have paved the way for those who were not welcome: foreigners who had different origins. When he arrived he made different choices, closing the door to what I’d been doing for the previous 20 years. I didn't like it.

"I complained because Dejan [Kulusevski] had been left out of the staring XI. Juventus spent a lot of money for him, but he wasn’t playing in the National Team. I miss Sweden, I could return if I feel well, but my presence should not disturb anyone. We’ll see what happens when the right moment comes.”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimovic’s Sweden return is closer with the striker who would play Euro 2020 with his National Team.
