Milan legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the New York Yankees, consolidating the club connection with the MLB team.
Both sporting franchises are at least partially owned by RedBird and this has helped form a strong commercial partnership between them.
That includes having New York Yankees president Randy Levine on the Milan board of directors and Rossoneri merchandise on sale at Yankee Stadium.
It was further boosted last night when Zlatan walked out at Yankee Stadium and threw the ceremonial first pitch that opens the MLB season.
The former player, now a special advisor to RedBird, then sat back down to watch the baseball.
