Milan coach Stefano Pioli will reportedly have Zlatan Ibrahimovic available for the match against Sassuolo this weekend.

The Swede replaced Olivier Giroud after 66 minutes in the 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, but the 40-year-old seemed to have struggled with a problem towards the end of the match.

Tuttosport reports the veteran has reassured everyone that he’s doing fine and will be available for the upcoming games.

Ibrahimovic opens up about surprising Milan, retirement and intentional foul on Azpilicueta

Milan have a busy schedule ahead of Christmas and are still playing for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League in two weeks time.

The Rossoneri host Liverpool in the last round of fixtures and a win over Jürgen Klopp’s men could be enough to qualify, if the result between FC Porto and Atletico Madrid goes in their favour.

Milan are joint first with Napoli in Serie A, with 32 points from 13 games, but aim to bounce back from a surprising defeat to Fiorentina last time.

Zlatan scored twice in the match at the Artemio Franchi and Tuttosport claims Ibrahimovic is available for the match against Sassuolo this weekend.

  1. The Ibra injury situation us now getting daft and Giroud is going down the same way
AC need to make a dicicision about these oldies top clubs need a strong fit squad to win silverware not
” will he will he not ” players

  2. Reality is IBRA could play 50 % of the games and likely still be the leading scorer on the team. How do you replace that goal production. As we all know , we can talk about the beautiful game but to win the ball has to go in the net , its just that simple.
Developing talent is great but we don’t have the purse right now to keep them when other clubs come calling. That’s why IBRA fits, right now anyway .

  3. Don’t agree acemilan Ibra won’t be able to play 50% of the games be lucky if he plays around 35%
    1 in 3 games

  4. Wouldn’t have done as well last season without him. This season we have Giroud and Pellegri as alternatives, don’t see the problem.

  5. Name 5 young strikers in todays football that are more decisive than Ibra, if you think his time is up then you need to go start watching water polo because it seems football is not for you
