Football agent Mino Raiola was laid to rest today with many of his players present at the funeral in Monte Carlo, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Born in Italy and moving to the Netherlands as a baby with his family, Raiola had lived in the Principality for many years.

He died in Milan on April 30 at the age of 54 after a long battle with illness.

The funeral was a private affair for family and close friends today at the Saint-Charles church in Monte Carlo.

Among those present were his clients, including Donnarumma of PSG, Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Milan forward Ibrahimovic.

Of his many players, Ibrahimovic was the closest to Raiola, reportedly rushing out of Milan training to be at his bedside when he passed away.

Others who had been Raiola’s clients and then moved on were also present to pay their respects, such as Paris Saint-Germain and Italy midfielder Marco Verratti.
