Former CEO Adriano Galliani believes Milan should bring back Zlatan Ibrahimovic – “every star of that level that comes to Italy raises the value of the league”.

It was reported earlier today that the LA Galaxy striker has agreed a six month contract to return to the Rossoneri, having left for Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.

“I believe every champion raises the level of the league,” Galliani, the man who sold Ibrahimovic against his will, told Rai Radio.

“The Cristiano Ronaldo deal did well for the trend of the Italian league, and Ibrahimovic would do that too.

“Every star of that level that comes to Italy raises the value of the league. But I promised myself not to talk about Milan, even if I am a crazy fan.

“I’m linked to Ibrahimovic, in those two seasons we won a Scudetto, a Supercoppa Italiana and came second in the following season.

“Ibra is an extraordinary player who drags his teammates with him.”
