Ibrahimovic was part of the team the last time Milan had won the title under Max Allegri and his return to the club in January 2020 was somehow pivotal to helping the club return to winning ways.
The Swede hasn’t ruled out continuing his playing career for one more season and was seen smoking a cigar before Milan lifted the trophy at the Mapei Stadium tonight. Theo Hernandez sprayed champagne over coach Stefano Pioli who, a few minutes later, had his winner’s medal stolen after the award.
