The 39-year-old spoke to RAI TV program Che Tempo Che Fa, revealing he is open to extending his contract with Milan for one more season.

He went on to talk about his career and, specifically, his move from Milan to PSG in 2012 and his relationship with former Milan CEO Adriano Galliani.

“I love Galliani. We have a special relationship. I wasn’t happy in my last month in Barcelona and he brought me to Milan where I returned to smile. I call him The Boss,” the Swede said.

“We had a meeting at the end of the 2011-12 campaign and I told him not to call me for the whole summer, because I knew he would do it to send me to another club.

“It went all well until two days before the beginning of the pre-season. Galliani called me and I thought he only wanted to know how I was feeling.

“He sent me to PSG instead. In the end, I felt well in Paris, but I didn’t talk to him for a few months.”
