Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly considering an offer from Milan, but the LA Galaxy striker wouldn’t be first choice.

The Swede has been linked with a return to the Rossoneri in January, either on loan or in a permanent deal.

The 37-year-old has 21 goals in 25 MLS appearances, but the Galaxy are struggling to qualify for the play-offs after conceding 60 goals in 32 games.

Ibra isn’t a Designated Player, so he earns a basic $1.5m [€1.3m] per season and calciomeracto.com reports that salary isn’t an issue for a potential return to Serie A.

However, general manager Leonardo has made it clear that Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone are the main strikers, meaning Ibrahimovic would have to accept a backup role.

It’s not clear if the veteran would accept that, as he can be the star man at LA Galaxy or in another league.

Both Leonardo and Mino Raiola, Ibra’s agent, have given the striker around a month to make a decision.
