La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Zlatan Ibrahimovic will ‘do everything’ to be available against Napoli, but the Swede once again trained apart from the team this morning and the same is true of Alessio Romagnoli.

The Swede has been out of action since the end of January due to an Achilles tendon injury. The 40-year-old hasn’t returned to training with the team since.

According to Milannews, Ibrahimovic trained apart from the group this morning, but there is a ‘small chance’ that he travels with the team to Naples on Sunday morning. The striker worked on the pitch today while Romagnoli trained in the gym.

The captain also didn’t join his teammates for the training session at Milanello and seemed unlikely to be available against Napoli on Sunday night.

The Italy centre back sustained a muscle injury against Inter on Tuesday, but Milan have ruled out a lesion in his left adductor, saying that the defender’s condition would be assessed day by day. Pierre Kalulu will replace Romagnoli at the Stadio Maradona in case the Italian doesn’t recover in time.
