According to Calciomercato.com, Cassano is open to joining Ibiza after initial reservations of moving abroad, while Galliani has been offered the position of ‘honorary President’.

The veteran forward has not played a competitive match for two years and left Verona before last season had started, although he has experience of Spanish football with Real Madrid.

Galliani, for his part, has been involved in media and politics since stepping down as Milan’s CEO and Vice-President 12 months ago.

Ibiza are bankrolled by Amadeo Salvo, who is best known for his presidency of Valencia between 2013 and 2015.
