“I’ve had no problems in my preparation,” Ibarbo told Roma TV.

“After international duty, I had a little holiday, and now I’m here with my teammates. They’re respectful lads in a quiet environment, and we’re working, which is the most important thing.

“The goal is to give our all, we know we have to give everything in training, try to get as far as possible in the Champions League, and to win something.

“The team wants to go as far as possible. There are teams like Milan and Inter, who had fallen behind a bit, who will now have to be patient because they’ve made a lot of changes, but we’re thinking of ourselves.

“My goal is to win everything with this team, and I’m here to give my all for the shirt. I want to show my best form, I was injured last year and a bit below-par.

“That said, we finished the season well, and now we have to show that we’ve earned our place in Europe.”
