The Colombian forward bagged his first hat-trick in Italian football on Sunday as he scored all the goals in a 3-1 victory against the Bluerchiati.
And the 22-year-old has conceded that he is finally getting to grips with Serie A.
“I am happy for this hat-trick,” he told Carrusel Deportivo. “I am a Colombian who is doing things right and I am proud to do it in Italy.
“I am feeling good at Cagliari. The food is great and I already speak the language.
“It took me a while to get used to it here, but now I am fine.”
