Roger Ibanez insists he will face Manchester United and play every game ‘for Roma, not to impress’ new coach Jose Mourinho.
The first leg ended 6-2 at Old Trafford and the Europa League semi-final concludes on Thursday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
“Tomorrow is important for us, we want to play with the same attitude as always,” said the defender in his press conference.
“It’s a different game, because we have to come back, but nothing is impossible in football and we’ll try to give our all.”

This will be one of Paulo Fonseca’s final game in charge, as Mourinho will take over from next season. Does Ibanez feel the pressure of having to impress the new boss?
“No, we play every game for us and for the Roma jersey. We will always do that, not to show off to a new coach. We always feel responsibility to honour the jersey and make the fans proud.”
