The experienced tactician then expressed his belief that Udinese are slowly improving under his leadership, following some underwhelming recent campaigns.
“We are coming off the back of a particular journey. This group has experienced difficult seasons, the atmosphere was one of disappointment.
“We had some problems initially. Some boys were brought in, little by little we are working and we are working on a certain plan.”
