“I want to thank the President Zamparini for the kind words that he wrote about me and my staff today,” Iachini wrote in a statement on Palermo’s official website.
“I’m returning to Palermo with great enthusiasm for the good of the club, the team and the fans.
“Now it’s necessary to stay united and compact, working hard day after day with the desire to achieve the goal of staying up as soon as possible.
“TOGETHER we can do it! Forza Palermo forever!”
