Beppe Iachini wants to see Fiorentina have ‘the right attitude’ from the start against Lecce, learning from the mistakes they made with Verona.
It kicks off on Wednesday at 20.45 UK time (19.45 GMT).

Beppe Iachini wants to see Fiorentina have ‘the right attitude’ from the start against Lecce, learning from the mistakes they made with Verona.
It kicks off on Wednesday at 20.45 UK time (19.45 GMT).
“It’s difficult when playing every three days, as we have to take every little strain and niggling injury into account when choosing the line-up,” the coach told the official Fiorentina website.
“Lecce are tough opponents, they’ll be playing on home turf, have quality and organisation. We’ve already had trouble with them this season and need to be fully focused to get a result.
“They have many figures who have been at Lecce for years and know each other so well, that’s what makes them particularly tricky. We need to take the initiative, start with the right attitude and mentality.
“It’s such a strange season since the restart, there are surprises around every corner.”
Fiorentina just about snatched a last-gasp point against Hellas Verona last week, Patrick Cutrone scoring with the last kick of the game.
“We wanted to do something different in the first half and that didn’t work, then we talked it over and corrected things during the break, playing a good second half,” explains Iachini.
“There are regrets, as we could’ve got it back on track earlier and had a different result at the end. It’s important to keep our eyes on the next test, being even more concentrated and careful to bring home the results we deserve.
“We have the youngest squad in Serie A this season, so we inevitably pay a price for that by not being as sharp as we could be in the final third.”
