Juventus and Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini has declared that he wants to end this season with winners’ medals for the Champions League and Euro 2020.
Chiellini is currently battling back from an ACL injury and turned 35 in August, but he made it clear he was setting the bar higher than ever for club and country.
“I want to win the 10th Scudetto and then possibly the Champions League and European Championship,” he told Juventus TV. “But if I manage to win only one of them, I’ll be very happy.

“I’m back training and I’m working a lot in the gym. A lot has changed since I dropped my crutches. Now I can have a normal life without too many obstructions.
“I haven’t played for many teams and I’m lucky that I’m good enough, because to stay here for 15 years is not easy.
“You need to find an environment which allows you to stay 15 years in one place and develop every year, at an ambitious club. If you are with the best, you don’t need to look elsewhere.”
