Former Milan general manager Ariedo Braida has revealed that he advised Carlo Ancelotti to take the Napoli job.
Braida worked alongside Ancelotti at Milan between 2001 and 2009, during which time the Rossoneri won a Scudetto and two Champions Leagues, and the 72-year-old – now Barcelona’s international sporting advisor – believes the Coach and Napoli are a perfect match.
“Donnarumma to Barca? Absolutely not, we have two great goalkeepers and we are happy with them,” he told Sport from the Football Leader summit.
