Elseid Hysaj's agent hits back at Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri – “Hysaj doesn’t have any mentality problem”.
The Partenopei lost to Besiktas in the Champions League last night, with Christian Maggio replacing the Albanian at right-back.
Sarri explained after the match that he thought Hysaj was “mentally tired” but the player’s representative takes issue with that.
“Every team has to deal with a difficult period in the course of a season,” Mario Giuffredi said on Radio Crc.

“Yesterday Napoli didn’t deserve to lose, but that’s what happens when things aren’t going your way. It’s been a month and a half since losing [Gonzalo] Higuain and then [Arkadiusz] Milik, it’s not easy and wouldn’t have been for anyone.
“The performance of the players was below their standard, it’s a team problem.
“Hysaj? I’m not stupid, and when one of my players has a problem I don’t pretend that it doesn’t exist, but I categorically disagree with Sarri’s words.
“Hysaj doesn’t have any mentality problems, he’s calm and mentally strong. He’s just a bit tired because he played two matches for the national team.”
