Elseid Hysaj’s agent is ‘evaluating various different options’ including Fiorentina and Lazio, but ‘the only certainty is that he won’t renew with Napoli.’
The Albania international’s contract expires on June 30 and he is therefore a free agent.
Although he had been seemingly on the verge of joining the Viola, the arrival of his old Empoli and Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri on the Lazio bench inevitably changes the scenario.
“We are evaluating various different options,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio Marte.
“I personally have not yet heard from Lazio, so for now we will continue our work on the offers that are there. If the Biancocelesti should arrive too, then they are very welcome.
“All I can say is that there are several different clubs after him and he’ll be a real bargain for whoever does sign the player.
“The only certainty is that he won’t renew with Napoli. Absolutely not.”
