New Cagliari signing Josef Hušbauer has been presented to Isolani fans, and says he bases his game on Pavel Nedved.
The Czech midfielder has joined Gianfranco Zola’s side on loan from Sparta Prague, and has compared himself to Nedved, who spent 13 successful years in Serie A with Lazio and Juventus.
“I’m happy to be here,” Hušbauer told assembled media at a Press conference to confirm his signing.

“I’m happy to be here,” Hušbauer told assembled media at a Press conference to confirm his signing.
“I hope to make a big contribution to the team which I think is very good, especially after seeing them play live on Sunday. I’m sure we can do good things.
“I spoke with [former Coach Zdenek] Zeman months ago, but now he’s gone and we have Zola who was a great footballer and stands out because he speaks to the players a lot, and that’s very important.
“I’m a midfielder, whether I play defensively or attacking makes no difference, I’m available for the Coach.
“The Italian game is definitely very hard, and playing against Napoli in the Europa League showed me that.
“Pavel Nedved is the player I model myself on.”
