They scored just 14 minutes into the second leg at the Ferenc Szusza Stadium this evening thanks to a wonderful Tamas Priskin solo effort.

He sprinted forward, cut back to surprise two defenders and curled into the far corner.

Norway kept most of the possession, but Hungary came closest to scoring and indeed found the net again in the closing stages.

A corner was flicked on by Daniel Bode at the near post and it ricocheted into the net off Norwegian defender Markus Henriksen.

Curiously, Henriksen also got his name on the correct side of the scoresheet, firing in the rebound after a splendid Gabor Kiraly save on Jo Inge Berget.

Norway had finished third in Italy’s group behind the Azzurri and Croatia, so entered the play-offs.
