Juventus defender Dean Huijsen is increasingly a target for German clubs VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg, as PSG have still not made an offer.

The centre-back is widely expected to be sold this summer to raise funds for other transfer deals, having just returned from a six-month loan spell at Roma.

The asking price is circa €25m plus bonuses and for a while it had seemed as if Paris Saint-Germain were prepared to swoop.

However, Sportitalia note that after negotiations, no formal proposal was ever made and they now seem to be looking elsewhere at cheaper alternatives.

German clubs line up for Huijsen

This has allowed other clubs to step in and make their own approach for Huijsen, specifically from the Bundesliga.

VfB Stuttgart are the current favourites, while Wolfsburg are also keeping a close eye on the situation.

He only turned 19 in April and has also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa.
