PSG have officially put Kylian Mbappé on the market and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Ligue 1 giants prefer Rasmus Hojlund to Dusan Vlahovic to potentially replace the French superstar.

Mbappé was not included in PSG’s squad for their pre-season in Japan after refusing to sign a contract extension with PSG.

This means PSG are now looking for a replacement for the French striker who is not expected to play for the Ligue 1 giants again unless he signs a new deal until 2025.

PSG directors had held talks with Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic only a few days ago, but according to Gazzetta, the Serbia international is not their primary target in attack. According to the report, in fact, PSG have prioritised Atalanta‘s Hojlund who has recently emerged as a primary transfer target for Manchester United.

The Red Devils are expected to make an official offer in the coming days, knowing that Atalanta won’t accept less than €65-70m for the 20-year-old.

If Vlahovic doesn’t move to Paris, Vlahovic could become a target of Manchester United. Several other clubs in Europe are said to be monitoring the 23-year-old, but Juventus haven’t received formal bids yet.

PSG have also been linked with Napoli star Victor Osimhen, but the Nigerian is negotiating a new deal with the Partenopei and the Serie A champions have set their asking price at €200m.
