Antonio Conte was reportedly not involved in the meeting, while players were told they will receive their bonuses for winning the title.
According to the report, Inter could save up to €25m before taxes if everyone agrees to take a pay cut, but the Nerazzurri would need to ratify the agreements before June 30, when the financial year ends.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will need to differentiate their deals, depending on when the players’ contracts expire.
For example, players with contract expiring on June 30 could be more reluctant to reach an agreement with the club.
Inter face Roma on Wednesday and for this reason, individual meetings with players may begin on Thursday, reports Il Corriere della Sera.
