Juventus must cope without Champions League revenues next season and according to reports in Italy the Old Lady will need more than €100m from sales this summer.

The Bianconeri were deducted 10 points for financial irregularities in 2022-23, so they missed out on a top-four placement, finishing seventh in Serie A.

With the holding company Exor announcing they won’t make capital injections until 2025, the Bianconeri need to sell some of their stars this summer to balance the books. Juventus confirmed a €254m for 2021-22 this past September.

Gazzetta reported last week that the Bianconeri would need more than €100m from sales during the summer transfer window, while Romeo Agresti was more specific, saying the Bianconeri aim for €120-130m.

It goes without saying that Juventus will also need to lower their wage bill, which is one reason why Angel Di Maria was not offered a contract extension. The Argentinean has recently confirmed he will leave Juventus after just one season at the club. He was among the highest earner in Turin with a €7m-a-year salary.

Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa are two stars who can potentially leave Turin. Chelsea have already sounded out the Serbian striker’s availability, according to Gazzetta, while Chiesa is wanted by Liverpool, among the others.
