Juventus could save a considerable amount of cash if they were to allow Paul Pogba to leave the club this summer, as lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League continue to make headlines across Europe.

The Frenchman added fuel to the fire in terms of transfer speculation with his visit to Saudi Arabia over the weekend.

It has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport that the former Manchester United midfielder has been offered a three-year contract thought to be worth €100m per season.

It is an offer that would certainly make Pogba an even richer man, but one that would also save Juventus a substantial amount of money in the immediate future as well.

Pogba currently earns a gross salary of €10.5m per season in Turin and has three full years left on his contract, which is set to expire in the summer of 2026.

If Pogba were to leave Juve this summer, the club could save €31.5m over the course of the next three years, a significant chunk of the €42m they committed to paying the former World Cup winner when they handed him a four-year deal last year.

With bonuses included, it is thought by La Gazzetta dello Sport that Juventus’ could end up paying Pogba close to €50m gross if he were to see out the full length of his contract.

Given that he was signed for free at the end of his contract with Manchester United last summer, Juve would not make a loss on a transfer fee, either. If anything, they would make a slight profit.
